Cape May, New Jersey

On September 13, 2007 I went on a day trip to Cape May, New Jersey with a friend and fellow photographer where we had the pleasure of snapping a few shots of the amazing Allison B. Loveland.

Allison “Allie” is always a pleasure to work with.  She is always cheerful and fun to be around.  She simply “eats the lens” and produces frame after frame of absolute perfection. Many of the shots I have included are just for fun to help portray her cheerful personality, which is the best part of working with her.

Anyway, we left Pennsylvania about midnight in order to make the trip and arrive in Cape May just before sunrise.  When shooting to the east we were able to silhouette the model against the rising sun. When shooting to the west we could capture the golden morning sun as it lit both her and the background perfectly.  I couldn’t have asked for better conditions if I had been Mother Nature. It was a golden day.

Within two weeks of this shoot Allie moved to North Carolina where she now lives.  Regardless of the long distance I hope to see her again in the spring.
